chevron-rightIs Cozmos free?hashtag

Yes! currently Cozmos is free for personal use while we continue to develop features. We will be introducing paid plans in the future but each of these will still have a free trial period.

chevron-rightHow do I create a Sphere?hashtag

A Sphere is a composite of image, text and video assets which you upload or link to from your Cozmos Space. There is no coding required to build and publish a Sphere. For a brief intro take a look at our Quickstart Guide.

chevron-rightCan I make an Ecommerce Sphere?hashtag

Yes definitely! it's one of the core use cases for Sphere. Creating immersive storefronts. We currently support two models. Either integrate your Shopify store or add products individually within your Cozmos Space. For a full overview, take a look at our Ecommerce Guide.

chevron-rightHow do I connect my own domain?hashtag

Very easily! (we hope). Take a look at our Domain Management guide. Just be aware, you will need access to your DNS to do this.

chevron-rightIs a Sphere SEO optimised?hashtag

Yes, we front-end the WebGl experience with HTML to ensure all Spheres can be effectively crawled and conform to schema.org guidelines for optimal rankings. For more details take a look at our SEO Guide.

chevron-rightAre Sphere's Accessible?hashtag

To a degree. Because of the complexity with visual accessibility and our technology we have initially focused on audio accessibility. For more detail read our Accessibility Guide.

chevron-rightWhy are my images blurry when I zoom in?hashtag

Because a Cozmos Sphere supports 32x zoom, images which do not have the resolution detail to support this level of zoom will start to degrade in quality as you zoom in towards them. If possible for large images in your design try to use 4k or above.

Not all images need this resolution though, if you are only using the image at a small scale, it won't require high resolution to still be sharp at max zoom.

chevron-rightHow do I make a background image?hashtag

Backgrounds can be complex to create and we are actively working on ways to make the process more simple. For a detailed overview read our Backgrounds Guide.

chevron-rightCan I use GA4 in Cozmos?hashtag

Yes! You will find the option to input your Google Analytics details in: Settings / Analytics / GTM. Read our Analytics Guide for more details.

chevron-rightWhat is a Landing Sphere?hashtag

Think of a landing sphere as your 'home page' in the traditional web sense. It can be used as a destination end point from other sphere's in your space but also acts as the wrapper for top level SEO.

chevron-rightWhy is there no navigation bar on a Sphere?hashtag

Our ethos at Cozmos is to promote immersion and the act of discovery rather than repeat the tab based navigation of traditional web experiences. We are actively working on new, intuitive ways to browse sphere. Keep an eye on our Release Notes for announcements of new features.

chevron-rightDoes Sphere support animation?hashtag

Currently we only support the .mp4 video format. There are challenges with animation and transparency in WebGL but we are working on this issue and hope to provide updated features in a release soon.

chevron-rightWhat are Actions?hashtag

Actions are how you bring interactivity to the objects or areas on your sphere. Read our Actions overview for more details on what you can do.

chevron-rightWhy won't the video object load my video?hashtag

Video links need to be direct urls to a CDN, the video object will not render browser links that you would normally find on YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo etc. If using your own CDN and still experiencing issues, please check that your CORS settings allow distribution to other domains.

We are currently working on a feature which will allow you to upload media files directly to Cozmos.

chevron-rightCan I copy and paste files from other design software?hashtag

No. All assets you intend to use within Curator must be uploaded to our platform. The process we use to create the incredible levels of zoom on a Sphere requires us to process images before they are published on a Sphere.

chevron-rightWhy can't I generate a Sphere?hashtag

The most common issue will be because you have not yet set a background image. If you have already done this and still cannot generate or publish please reach out to our Product Support Team.

chevron-rightCan I have audio on a Sphere?hashtag

Only if you use a video object and do not set it to autoplay. We are actively working on ways to bring audio which meets accessibility standards to Cozmos. It will be a big announcement when we do so don't worry about missing it

chevron-rightHow do I add more people to my Cozmos Space?hashtag

Very easily. In the User Management section of the side menu in your Cozmos Space you will see two sections. Space Admins and Space Moderators. Decide what level of access you would like the new user to have, open that page in your Space and in the top right you will see an invite button.

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite. They will be sent a link to your Space and you will get an email notification once they have created their profile.

chevron-rightDoes a Sphere work in VR?hashtag

Sphere's do work in VR but have yet to be optimised. We don't yet fully expose the North and South Poles in Curator, meaning any Sphere viewed in VR will not have a ceiling or floor and will look a bit 'funky' to say the least.

chevron-rightCan I build a members' only Sphere?hashtag

Not yet. Part of our extended roadmap is focused on community spaces and membership Spheres. For now, the only restriction to access you can apply is to password protect you Sphere.
