How to connect your Twitch content to Cozmos

In your Cozmos Space go to: Settings / Social Media Integrations / Twitch
The 'Title' field allows you to name the content you are linking, this makes it easier to find when browsing what content to add in Curator through the Social Content Link Action
For Twitch we support three types of content: Livestreams/Channels, VODs and Clips.
To find your own channel name, login to Twitch and click on your profile icon in the top right of the screen. Select Channel and the browser will load your channel. Copy the channel name from the url, you don't need the entire url
For other, public channels. Open the channel and copy the channel name from the url.
To go to the VODs page of a channel, click the channel icon beneath the Twitch video player and select the Videos tab.
When you select a video, the url structure have a video ID. This is all you need to copy to Cozmos, not the full url.
For embedding Clips the process is the same as VODs. To find Clips it is best to browse Twitch by category.
Once you have selected a category and have found a clip you would like to embed, double click it so that the url in your browser tab changes. It will look something like this:
https://www.twitch.tv/ninja/clip/AcceptableAlluringLorisMcaT-qkHNSM8cqCiyuc1v
Cozmos does not need the entire url, just the Clip title at the end.
Content Type | Full example URL (yellow section required by Cozmos) |
---|---|
Channel | https://www.twitch.tv/eslcs |
VODs | https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1952244075 |
Clips | https://www.twitch.tv/ninja/clip/AcceptableAlluringLorisMcaT-qkHNSM8cqCiyuc1v |
Copy the relevant information of whichever content type you would like to embed in the Add Content section of the Social Media Integration settings.
There is no limit to how many content links you can add, but we recommend naming them clearly so you can easily find them in Curator when applying the Social Content Link action.
